What we do
Sixty years of helping people grow
Greenfield began in 1962 as a handful of garden clubs pooling what they knew. We are a national body now, but the idea has not changed: gardeners learn fastest from other gardeners. Members get the practical help, the people, and the events to grow with confidence — whatever they grow, wherever they are.
- Over 1,200 step-by-step growing guides, written by our horticulturists
- The Greenfield Journal, delivered four times a year
- Workshops, courses, and the annual Spring Plant Fair
- 118 local groups running garden visits, talks, and plant swaps
- The Greenfield Diploma and our members’ Seed Exchange
