Three levels
The Diploma is taught in three stages. The Foundation Certificate covers the essentials every gardener needs: soil, propagation, planting, and care. The Diploma itself goes deeper into plant science, design, and growing under glass. The Advanced Diploma is for those heading toward professional practice, with specialist modules and an independent project.
How it works
Study is part-time and flexible, combining online learning with hands-on practical sessions at chapter gardens. Most students complete a level in a year alongside work or family, and there are no formal entry requirements beyond enthusiasm. Each level is assessed through coursework and a practical portfolio rather than a single nerve-wracking exam.
